In 2008-2009 there were 20 volunteers who helped me put together the 960 Candidate Slate for change. I am the author of OUR two Constitutional Initiatives and I am also a 2011 Candidate for mayor of san francisco. There was no team who stepped forward to take on building the 2011 slate for change WITH ME. as a leader and political organizer my role is to give you my best, but not do FOR YOU what you can AND SHOULD do for your selves. I selected my ENDORSEMENTS for AD12 and AD13 and posted a sample in AD1 of what we should have here for all the other 78 Assembly Districts. I MADE MY ENDORSEMENTS FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO AS I INTEND TO BE ELECTED MAYOR ON 11/1/2011.

Since THE CALIFORNIA ACTION NETWORK IS organizing California, we need you each to do your part in this template, to demonstrate by example, to the other Grassroots local team Change groups how to organize america. I gave that name to the DNC and got no credit for it. This time, in this place, I am going to do my best to make real change happen -

WE WANT THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE CADEM. to get the cadem endorsement we need to get our people elected. only you can organize your local group. THE CA REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NOT GOING TO PUSH FOR ANY CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION WITH a DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY RULE. THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CURRENT CADEM IS BOUGHT OFF BY AGRIBUSINESS, CORPORATE MONEY, THE PRISON GUARDS, BIG OIL and
non-california political and economic financial elites.

This means we need to recruit 125,000 volunteers
to weld the into a statewide working political organization.

It's great to have jerry brown governor. But we all know that the Brown, Burton, Davis Machine is owned by the big prison industry. This is the same CCpoa that brought us the three strikes law and the war on drugs, which has bankrupted california, and destroyed public education. Pat and Jerry brown are politically funded by the occidental petroleum company, so do not expect any oil EXTRACTION ROYALTY from big oil to pay chevron's share or any other oil company's due under a brown administration.

C.A.N. will not deliver any top down organization to do the work for you. your going to have to do this and know that thousands of others out there are working their asses off with you to add up to real change. you must do your own local work. you must try and succeed at recruiting others to help out. We will post the 2013 endorsements here - but you will have to put those teams together, and each AD WILL BE responsible to build and elect and form your own local slates to add to the 79 other teams that will be our California action network.
I personally do not accept the work to arbitrarily choose 12 delegates per ad. in 2009, i had 20 of the best grassroots leaders in the 2007-2008 california Obama campaign, who helped select OUR 2009 STATEWIDE SLATE. If you are a CADEM Candidate and want to join us, please do. the more progressive the better. if your a corporatist, please just go away now. i will personally contact you shortly on Facebook. We will post all the Candidates for each AD on their specific Facebook groups to help keep you all in touch. CADEM will take those lists down fast. please note how CADEM makes it impossible to communicate with the others. This top down control MECHANISM is what moveon does and what the dnc does. this is not how we will work. all our facebook groups are open, so that should help you each build in your AD. I will work with the admins to turn over local control asap. you must police your own groups. please delete spammers and trolls. your on your own to reach out thru your local community colleges, CSU and UC campuses, as well as with your local labor unions, to grow your teams.

If you are following along in the other 49 states, please note that your state democratic party is probably organized across your state assembly districts, as california is. the US supreme Court has ordered that the one person one vote principle be used in all our united states to keep the principle of equal representation respected. here in california we are organizing each assembly district, and then down to within each precinct in each AD. If you do the same in your states, we will all end up organizing all of the precincts, in all of the counties, of all of the states, of the united states of america. from the bottom up.
Each group is free to vote for what they choose to do as local teams.
In california, we intend to take over the california staTE democratic party FROM THE PRECINCT LEVEL UP TO THE TOP.
if you worked on mybo in 2007-2008, I am the national COMMUNICATIONS director of the obama brigade. I set the april 19th date of the national unity rallies that organized 35,000 to 50,000 voter volunteers to make the 3 to 5 million voter to voter calls into PENNSYLVANIA between april 19th and 21st. i created the community action network on mybo, and was deleted by the dnc on april 11th 2009, without any warning or EXPLANATION. All my blogs are gone, but the USA.CAN and all the STATE.CAN groups are still there. all the california county groups are still there, but there is no admin since the OFA/DNC deleted me from my.barackobama.com
We are picking up where we left off. I talked with howard dean and he agrees that we need to organize every one of all 3,141 counties in america. The dnc can not do this work. this is the work of the local state democratic parties. This is the work of the local county democratic parties. This is the work of the grassroots. I am organizing the grassroots so we can get rid of the state and national democratic party leadership, that works for corporate america and forgot that as democrats, we are the little people.

Note: If you were on our 2009 Slate for Change, and you won, you should have taken on the leadership of your Assembly District for our 2011 California Caucus. We had a full team of people who had just come off the 2007-2008 Obama Campaign and 2009 was our first shot as Obama People - at Organizing California. Welcome back. Feel free to use the Facebook Groups to recruit others to join you now.
I posted the County MyBO Groups, but the DNC deleted our leadership so we will not use the MYBO site any more, as we will standardize on Facebook Groups. You can use MYBO to recruit but you will have to maintain on your own Facebook Group. Just send me the email to get Admin Rights. Your welcome to use their membership communication tools in MyBO for your organizing. Feel free to communicate with their many groups in California as well. We will be coordinating our Community Organizer training in 2011 with DFA - Howard Dean's Netroots Nation. The only way for us to reach you now is on our Facebook Groups. We lost all our contact data from 2009, in that April of '09. We have heard the other horror stories from other grassroots organizers. Let's just agree to pass on any criticism of the OFA/DNC, let them do what they will and we can and should focus on the California State Democratic Party.
CADEM is not the DNC. We have our State business to attend to. If what we do now, delivers the grassroots leadership needed now, our efforts will provide the 3,141 County Strategy and return to our grassroots 50 State Strategy we will need to liberate the DNC in the future. Clearly, we all can see the similarity between the DNC, the Obama Administration and the RNC and other recent past Federal Administrations. This is the California Action Network. We are only focused on California at this time.
Those of you who run for CADEM Delegates will vote on California's 2012 Democratic Presidential Endorsement, at the 2012 State CADEM Convention. That's a plus. Our focus is on the 2011 CADEM Annual Convention, as we need millions of signatures to qualify our Initiatives for the State Ballot. Our California Action Network focus is our State need for a California Constitutional Convention that is run by the Progressives and Progressive Voters of our State.
We need to End the War on Drugs, Fund Public Education, Re-Frame our State, Close the Corporate Loophole in Prop 13, repeal the Three Strikes Waste of Human Lives, set up Single Payer as a Public Option, Set up a State Owned Bank like the Bank of North Dakota as well as 58 County Owned Banks to compliment our new Economic Ecology. Starting at this time, we are Californian's focused on Our Great State of California. We anticipate and hope for a strong student support at this time, as this is how we will end the budget cuts in California's Public Education, and restore California to the top ranked public education in the USA. Our goals are to breath new life into the California Master Plan for Education by delivery of a total overhaul and implement a new design for State Government in our Great State. Please join your local CAN Facebook Group for your specific Assembly District, and join there at that group level, and start to recruit your friends. Please also do join our California Action Network Statewide Group on Facebook. Both of those links are to your right. We do not have our list servers working yet. We are starting at no money. When we have raised more than office and telecom expenses, we will hire a web crew to take on our Website. Trust me, I am really tired of doing all this alone.
The deadline is closed to be a CADEM Candidate. Since only a handful showed me any interest I will not put the 960 person Slate together for you on my own. I need help at this. This year, there are old guard Democrats we hoped to vote out. If your happy with War Mongers like Jane Harmon in the CADEM, then your not our people. We want to vote out proxy candidates who work for the status quo as that crew gave us 26 new State Prisons in 27 years, only one UC (Merced) and then gutted all of our Public Education in our State. REAL Change is coming to California from our grassroots. If you distrust the Elected Leadership - your our people.
If you want to be in our 2013 Slate For Change 12 Candidate Slate - you must get active and join the S4C Group on Facebook (link on your right or below) in the specific Assembly District of your Residence. Please send us mail to the Admins on the FB Group - that you are a Candidate and you want to be in our Slate. Thank you to the 6 or 7 who did this, but I needed one per AD to do the work. I will recruit the whole teams now - and do that my self. I will be searching for you if your on the list of Candidates to become a CADEM Delegate. I really need help.
You must support the floor motion we will make for FORMAL CADEM ENDORSEMENT OF our two CONSTITUTIONAL INITIATIVES that call for a California Citizens Constitutional Convention if you want to be in our Slate. Clearly - the AD12 and AD13 people are those I hope to work with as Mayor of San Francisco starting January of 2012.
I intend to go up against the California Correctional Police Officers Association (the CCPOA) and the Private Prison Industry of the CIA and Wall Street in a head to head battle for the future direction of California. I personally recognize that the California Democratic Party is not up to this. Political animals suck for money and rarely will you find a person of honor who lives and dies by principles. Most all Democrats are bought and paid for. I am personally sick of the corruption and collusion. I intend to change the California Democratic Party from the Grassroots up. If your with me, lets fire it up!!!!
I will not organize on my.barackobama.com further, but you may. That website is basically non-active at this time. 90% of those names are gone. But MYBO physically still works, even though the President appears to have morphed into a Republican. There are still about 2 million California Voters on that website to use do data mine and recruit from. Feel free to join my.barackobama.com and use their tools to locate other progressive people in a one, two, five or fifteen mile radius of your zip code. MyBO is a very powerful tool for that kind of search. Feel free to use MyBO in your Jelly's to send one on one emails to activists and voters in your Assembly District and Counties. We have three things to do now.
We need everyone to start recruiting into our CAN Facebook Assembly District Groups now. We need to build those groups to between 1,000 and 2,500 members each as soon as possible. Our goal is 125,000 workers for signature gathering, and that is simply just over 1,500 per AD Team.
If you want to use my.barackobama.com just join and go to work. Or you can use Facebook, Linkedin, or any of your other Email lists of friends and concerned citizens. Please do join us and help out. We need 1,000 to 2,500 working in every Assembly District to Organize California down to the 24,835 Precincts.
You can build your own MyBO profile and join the established groups around you to recruit out of. You can search all the MyBO Groups within a geographic radius you will set on your own. There are thousands of people there and most are really pissed off and ready to do something about it - as the DNC sure seems clueless. Please do join the MyBO groups and start sending emails to everyone. Each MyBO Group has a "Group Email Address" so you can email a group and everyone will get your mail - if the Admin has opened up the group. If not - then your stuck with one on one emails. That is ok. You can draft one and send out 200 to 300 copies one on one - and those will get thru to people - some of who are really well trained and great new friends! (smile) Netroots California is a good place to organize as well. Most of us are organizing on Facebook as it is so easy - especially among your friends. This work with MyBO will allow you to branch out and meet new progressives in your area to build a New California Democratic Party. We work with the Democratic Clubs in the California Democratic Leadership Council.
The following is our January Slate For Change for 2011, which we will organize now. We are searching for strong DFA support and we Welcome DFA and PDA support now. The 2011 Slates will be listed as the Slate for Each Group in Facebook first. Please call your Events and Set up Your Local Meetings on December 11th and 18th to organize your core crew. Our Goal is for you to pick your own 12 Delegates by your own process and notify us before December 19th, 2010. After your Slate is Full - it's Full. You will have to attend to local meetings of the groups if you really want in - then ask them - but this is really a scramble of the eager. You will prove your own leadership by delivery. AD 1 is a sample of what a full Slate should look like. This is not an official C.A.N. endorsement but it will give you an idea of the kind of people l like personally. You will have to form a group and vote your own Slate For Change in the future.
AD 12 & 13 are my Official Choices for those two Assembly Districts. I am running for Mayor and both these Assembly Districts are in San Francisco, where I will court and win my voters. I hope to work with these people in my Administration.
All the other Assembly Districts have a set of C.A.N. Local Group Officers. I am recruiting these initial people and will not stop until these seats are full. I have 80 Assembly Districts to Organize to Organize California and I need your help where you are. If your reading this and agree with us, sign up now!

I need two volunteer Admins for each group. You can join and send me mail on Facebook to hook up. Invite your friends. Invite strangers from MyBO.
